SpaceX’s Starship program has delivered several epic moments in its quest to revolutionize space travel. The maiden flight of Starship SN8 in december 2020 became iconic for its daring attempt at a high-altitude flight test. It marked the first time Starship reached the edge of space, with a flawless ascent and controlled aerodynamic descent. The most thrilling moment came during the "belly flop" maneuver, showcasing its innovative landing approach. Though it ended in a fiery explosion due to a landing malfunction, the test was a pivotal demonstration of SpaceX’s bold design.

Another standout moment came during the Starship SN10 flight in march 2021. This mission succeeded in what the SN8 and SN9 could not: landing. Despite a hard landing, which caused the rocket to explode minutes later, it was the first time a Starship prototype touched down upright.

In april 2023, SpaceX attempted the first integrated flight test of the fully stacked Starship and Super Heavy booster. Although the flight ended with the vehicle exploding after a few minutes, the liftoff itself was a major milestone for SpaceX as it took the combined system off the ground, progressing closer to its goal of reusable, interplanetary transport. These epic moments underscore SpaceX’s iterative, bold approach toward a multi-planetary future.
