The election commission of india on tuesday announced by-elections on 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Voting will be held on all seats at once on november 13 and counting of votes will be done on november 23. However, elections were not announced in Milkipur in Ayodhya. In this context, Samajwadi party spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand has reacted. He has raised questions on the impartiality of the election Commission. The SP spokesperson said that by-elections were to be held on 10 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The commission announced only on 9 seats. Milkipur has not been announced saying that some matter is pending in the court. SP wants to ask the commission whether the court has given any such order. A petition is also pending on the Sisamau seat. Then why are elections being held there. The impartiality of the election commission is questioned as to why by-elections are not being held in Milkipur and why bipolls are being held in Sisamau.
On the other hand, bjp said that - this is the decision of the election Commission. bharatiya janata party leader and deputy cm Brajesh Pathak said that this is the decision of the election commission, the case is going on in the court.
Let us tell you that the petition of former bjp mla baba Gorakhnath stopped the election of Milkipur. In the 2022 assembly elections, a petition was filed in the high court regarding the error in the nomination notary of SP candidate Awadhesh Prasad. Right now the petition of former mla baba Gorakhnath is pending in the High Court. In 2022, SP candidate Awadhesh prasad won.
That's why Milkipur got stuck!
The by-election in Milkipur, UP was not announced because former bjp mla baba Gorakhnath has filed a petition in the allahabad high court against SP mla Awadhesh prasad who won the election in 2022. The matter is related to the wrong oath while filling the form of Awadhesh. It has been said in the writ that the license of the lawyer who had attested the record of Avadhesh prasad was not renewed on that date. Whereas the supreme Court's guideline is that the notary must have his license on the date on which he certifies the record.
