On the issue of deaths due to drinking poisonous liquor in Chhapra, Siwan and Gopalganj of bihar, prashant Kishore's party Jan Suraaj said on thursday that our stand that liquor ban will be abolished as soon as the government is formed, is firm on that stand and the deaths that are happening now are happening because of liquor ban. Jan Suraaj spokesperson vivek Kumar said that this chain of deaths will stop once liquor is started, because people are drinking poisonous liquor due to scarcity.

'There is only a law of liquor ban in Bihar'

Spokesperson vivek Kumar said that the process that should have been done to ban liquor was not correct. Work was not done on the basis of the vision that should have been there. This is the reason that liquor ban is only a law in Bihar. There is no liquor ban and people are dying by drinking cheap poisonous liquor secretly. He claimed that these deaths will stop once liquor ban is abolished.

However, vivek Kumar also said that I do not consider alcohol to be right. Drinking alcohol is not a good thing. Our party runs on Gandhi's ideas, but we cannot stop anyone from eating, drinking or thinking about something. If alcohol is to be completely banned, then a vision will have to be prepared for it. Jan Suraj has thought about it. You can increase the price. You can make alcohol expensive. You can complicate its process, so that people automatically start avoiding drinking, but suddenly banning alcohol completely was completely wrong. The people of bihar are suffering the consequences of this.
