20 deaths in Siwan and five in Chapra

Along with this, the DGP has confirmed that 20 people have died in Siwan and five in Chapra. The DGP said that the police have arrested 12 people while taking action. He also said that strict action will be taken against these mafias. Strictest action will be taken against those who manufacture, store, supply. The Secretary of the Prohibition Department and the Superintendent of police of the Prohibition Department have also been sent to the area from Patna. These people have been instructed to look into the problems and prepare a detailed action plan so that action can be taken against everyone.

SIT formed for investigation

DGP Alok raj said that SIT has been formed for investigation. On the question that such incidents are happening during festivals, he accepted the fact of lapse. He said that those due to whom this lapse is happening will be identified and appropriate action will be taken. In the meeting of departmental officials with chief minister Nitish Kumar, directions have been given to take action. Those who are guilty will not be spared.
