Blast outside CRPF school in Delhi

On Sunday, there was a huge explosion near Rohini's prashant vihar in Delhi. After the loud boom, smoke plumes were spotted rising from a location close to the CRPF Public school in Rohini; a video of the incident became viral online.

Images from the scene revealed that the explosion caused the windows of the surrounding cars to shatter and that the sound originated from the area around the school's wall. After the police had roped off the whole area, a white powder-like material was discovered close to the school wall.

NSG commandos arrived at the site of the explosion. In addition, a large police presence has been stationed close to the school, and evidence-finding sniffing dogs are being employed. To determine how the explosion was carried out, a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory also arrived at the location and took samples.

According to reports, there are many stores next to the school's wall, and the loud noise could have been caused by a cylinder explosion. Although the precise cause of the explosion is yet unknown, no casualties have been recorded as of yet. India Today was able to get several pieces of footage that demonstrate the magnitude of the explosion's destruction to the surrounding businesses. Following the explosion, the hoardings of the stores can be seen strewn over the street in the footage.

"The only scenarios that come to me are a building collapse or a cylinder explosion. This area had a thick smoke cloud that persisted for around ten minutes. An eyewitness reported, "The hoardings have been moved, and the glass of the shops here has broken."
