Huge penalty for Sholinganallur private hospital..!?

A private hospital in Sholinganallur has been banned from providing treatment for 10 days in connection with YouTuber Irfan cutting the baby's umbilical cord during delivery. Treatment may be given to those who are already inpatients. It has been informed that no new patients should be admitted. Rajamurthy, director of Medical Rural Welfare, said that the hospital has been fined Rs 50,000 as a first step. Popular YouTuber Irrfan ran into a huge controversy when he posted a video announcing the gender of his unborn baby. But he had taken a video of it in Dubai. Also, many people criticized that his video would be seen by people from tamil Nadu and it would set a wrong precedent and the government should take strict action in this regard. Following this, Irfan apologized and the government only issued him a warning.
Now again, Irrfan had taken a video of his wife giving birth in Shozhinganallur, Chennai, and published it. Irfan cut the baby's umbilical cord with a pair of scissors which has sparked a huge controversy. Regarding this issue yesterday, When reporters questioned minister Subramanian, he said, "Irrfan already went to dubai and came out to find out the gender of his child. As there are no such laws in dubai, he found out the gender and came here to celebrate. We accept his apology as there is no gender discrimination in Dubai. If we had done it here, we would have shut down the concerned company. He was excused by giving a notice and asking for an explanation because it did not happen in tamil Nadu.
Now a complaint has been lodged against Irfan and Rainbow Hospital doctor Nivedita who admitted him to the hospital for violating medical law in the matter of cutting the umbilical cord on behalf of the Directorate of Medical services at Semmancheri police Station. The Medical Council has also recommended banning the practice of Dr. Nivedita. Legal and departmental action will be taken soon," he said. Also, the minister said that there is no political background in taking action against Irfan and even if Irfan apologizes this time, we will not let him go. Subramanian said. He also said that the government will not fail to punish the wrongdoers. In that way, the hospital that admitted Irfan has been fined Rs. 50,000, and a notice has been issued banning from providing medicine for 10 days.
