The internet was caught off guard when the cybersecurity company McAfee recently unveiled its 2024 "Celebrity Hacker Hot List," which lists the top 10 indian celebrity names that fraudsters most frequently exploit to deceive consumers. Most people are surprised to see that Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, is at the top of the list, surpassing celebrities like alia bhatt, Aamir Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan!

This has largely been made feasible by Orry's rapid ascent and his prominence at practically every bollywood event, which makes him the ideal target for hackers who use his name to trick gullible followers. Due to his impending Dil-Luminati tour, singer Diljit Dosanjh came in at number two. Along with well-known cricket figures like mahendra singh dhoni, Virat Kohli, and Sachin Tendulkar, other noteworthy actors on the list were alia bhatt and Ranveer Singh.

The public's response to the list has been conflicted, with many expressing shock that Orry made the top. On social media, a commenter said, "I didn't even know who Orry was until recently, and now he's at the top of this list!" with many similar sentiments. The identities of these celebrities are used by scammers to exploit their large fan bases for deepfakes, phishing campaigns, and other fraudulent operations. These scams have been occurring for a long time in various countries, including India.
