The procedure has proven to be a headache for thousands of indians who are eager to schedule Dropbox appointments for H1B and H4 visas. The struggle against time is now more important than completing out forms. By taking advantage of the lot's desperation, agents are controlling the majority of the process.

"I paid, but I received nothing." In an attempt to expedite the visa application process, many are paying agents substantial sums of money. The terrible truth is that one candidate remarked, upset, "I paid the agent because I urgently needed the slot."

"He assured me of a fixed date, but there was no appointment when I got there. I lost faith as well as money. The worst? This incidence is not unique.

More folks are reporting similar situations every day. While some brokers sell the same appointment space to several individuals and simply take your money, others charge exorbitant fees with no certainty. You are shocked to learn that your position never existed in the first place when you arrive at the embassy. In the meanwhile, many join whatsapp and Telegram groups hoping for a miracle or an agent who will truly do the task.

Unfortunately, phony profiles masquerading as real agents are common in many of these organizations. An H4 visa applicant claimed, "I nearly fell victim to scams in these groups twice." "You feel like you've just fallen into another trap after joining the group in the hopes of getting help." To make matters worse, some agents are using bots, which are computer programs that schedule appointments more quickly than a person could. To resale at exorbitant rates, their agents reserve spots in advance. Sincere candidates are forced to pay outrageous fees or wait longer.

He declared, "It has turned into a black market." "The system has been overrun by the agents. You are left with nothing if you are unable to pay them. It's almost like a Catch-22 scenario. However, there is some defense against this. Avoiding the use of agents until absolutely necessary is the greatest protection available. Use official channels at all times, such as the US Travel Docs website. Be extremely cautious if you decide to utilize an agent. Don't send big quantities of money until you have confirmation; instead, look for some verification reviews.

Many people are optimistic that the US Embassy and indian authorities will fix this already flawed system. Until then, it would be up to the candidates to stay vigilant, stay away from these frauds, and help one another through legitimate networks.
