As per report Ramesh Bishnoi, a cousin of incarcerated gangster lawrence Bishnoi, publicly declared that the community stands united in support of lawrence Bishnoi amidst ongoing tensions stemming from the 1998 blackbuck hunting case involving bollywood actor salman Khan. Ramesh made these comments following allegations that salman khan had attempted to financially appease the lawrence Bishnoi community, which they staunchly rejected.

Perhaps lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently imprisoned in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Central Jail on multiple charges, has been at the centre of controversy ever since he and his gang issued threats against Khan following the blackbuck incident. The lawrence Bishnoi community holds the blackbuck sacred, and the incident has led to deep-rooted animosity. Ramesh Bishnoi recounted how salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, suggested that the lawrence Bishnoi gang was motivated by financial gain. In response, Ramesh claimed said salman khan had brought a cheque book and encouraged them to fill in the amount they desired. He said “If we were truly in need of money, we would have accepted his offer”.

Furthermore the situation escalated to alarming levels, with reports indicating that the Navi mumbai Police recently launched an investigation into threats made against salman Khan’s life. This follows a series of violent incidents, including an earlier gunfire outside Khan’s residence and a threatening ransom demand of Rs 5 crore purportedly sent by members of the lawrence Bishnoi gang.
