The financial results for the quarter that ended on september 30, 2024, have been released by PVRINOX Limited. With a spend per head (SPH) of INR 135 and an average ticket price (ATP) of INR 247, the firm recorded an amazing 69.2 million (6 crore 92 lakh) foot traffic. This quarter's high point was the return of Hindi-speaking moviegoers to theaters, fueled in large part by kalki 2898 AD and Shraddha Kapoor's stree 2.

In Q2 FY'25, box office receipts in india increased by 40% on a quarter-over-quarter basis, according to the financial report. This increase is a result of both good movie releases and high attendance. The outstanding performance of Hindi-language films, which experienced an astounding 91% gain in receipts compared to the previous quarter, was a big factor in this comeback.

A major contributor to this rise is stree 2, which has become the highest-grossing hindi film of all time. Furthermore, kalki 2898 AD, which was made available at the end of the first quarter of FY'25, continued to do well in the telugu and hindi markets. A good overall performance for the quarter was facilitated by a number of noteworthy films, including regional triumphs like NTR's Devara and the tamil blockbuster GOAT, as well as worldwide hits like Deadpool and Wolverine.
