The election on Mahim seat can be interesting
Currently, sada Sarvankar is the mla of shiv sena led by Eknath Shinde faction from Mahim assembly seat of Maharashtra. shiv sena has given him a chance again and declared him as the candidate. Along with this, uddhav thackeray faction's shiv sena (UBT) has also fielded its candidate from this seat. The uddhav faction has given ticket to Mahesh Sawant from here. MNS chief raj Thackeray's son amit thackeray will also contest from here, so the contest here looks triangular.
Will the Shinde faction withdraw its candidate from Mahim seat?
raj Thackeray's MNS has so far announced candidates for more than 50 seats out of 288 seats. During the lok sabha elections, raj Thackeray had fully supported the NDA. Now, if the Mahayuti reaches a final consensus on supporting raj Thackeray's son amit thackeray on the Mahim seat, then the Shinde faction may have to withdraw its candidate from here.
Maharashtra currently has a Mahayuti government under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. Apart from Shinde faction's shiv sena, the Mahayuti includes bjp and Ajit Pawar's party NCP. Let us tell you that in Maharashtra, which has 288 assembly seats, voting for all the seats is to be held in a single phase on november 20, while the counting of votes will be held on november 23.
