There has been a lot of talk lately concerning the practice of releasing dubbed movies with original names that are not in telugu without showing any consideration for the telugu audience. The producers of Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan organized a press conference to address this issue and give an explanation for their decision to forego telugu titles.

Rumor has it that the title of yash Raj Films' much awaited war 2 is also shifting in the midst of this discussion. war 2, starring hrithik roshan and Jr. NTR, is the follow-up to the popular spy movie war, in which Hrithik costarred with tiger Shroff. According to recent sources, the movie's title could be changed to better appeal to telugu viewers.

There are hints that a telugu subtitle would be added to the current english title rather than a whole title change. If all goes according to plan, the movie may be called war 2-Yuddhabhoomi. It's interesting to note that this choice wasn't made recently; it appears to have been thought of even before the movie's production got underway. Early on in the film's development, hrithik roshan had posted about "Yuddhabhoomi." According to reports, the crew is putting in a lot of effort to finish the movie before the august 15th of next year.
