There is a lot of controversy around Elon Musk's recent decision to support donald trump in the next US elections. Many think that by spending millions on his preferred candidate, the multibillionaire is only setting himself up for legal issues. Musk is now paying voters who sign a petition in favor of the First and Second Amendments up to $1 million per day until november 5. The petition's goal is closely related to Trump's campaign, even if it does not specifically name him.

Pennsylvania, where the first two individuals received their million dollars on Sunday, is one of the battleground states that the space x creator is aiming for. Musk's public support and endorsement of trump is perfectly acceptable, but this most recent action verges on criminality. The legality of this campaign has raised concerns among political analysts and even the governor of Pennsylvania.

Musk claims that it is only a defense of free speech and the right to bear guns in an attempt to maintain his dignity. Nonetheless, it is evident to everybody that the campaign is exceeding the limits of the law by specifically targeting the swing states. In such a fiercely contested race, it appears that the wealthiest man in the world is attempting to circumvent the law. However, his financial motivations could allow donald trump to reenter the White House.
