Reportedly prime minister Narendra Modi on tuesday said this year’s diwali is special as Lord ram is seated in his grand temple, the newly built Shri ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. Speaking via video conferencing after distributing appointment letters under the Rozgar Mela, the prime minister also extended Dhanteras wishes to the country. PM Modi said “I extend my heartfelt greetings to all the citizens on Dhanteras. In just two days, we will also celebrate diwali, and this year’s diwali is particularly special. After 500 years, Lord ram is seated in his grand temple in Ayodhya, and this will be the first diwali celebrated with him in his magnificent temple”.
Meanwhile the PM said “We are all very fortunate to witness such a special and grand Diwali. Today, on this auspicious day, we are distributing appointment letters to 51,000 youths during the Rozgar Mela. I congratulate you all”. He added “The sale of Khadi has increased by 400 per cent compared to the UPA government. This clearly indicates that the Khadi industry is growing, benefiting artisans, weavers, and traders alike. This growth is beneficial not only for the Khadi industry but also for various sections of society. It leads to increased employment opportunities and boosts economic development”.
Moreover to ensure cleanliness and environmental awareness, special lamps that minimize soot and pollution will be used at the ram Janmabhoomi temple. More than 30,000 volunteers will assist in decorating the ghats on october 30. The state government’s spokesperson emphasised that these specially designed lamps will protect the temple structure from stains and will provide long-lasting illumination. The entire temple complex will be adorned with flowers, and efforts will be made to convey a message of environmental protection during this year’s Deepotsav.
