Ghajini is finally getting a sequel after a 16-year wait. According to reports released last month, aamir khan discussed the same topic with producers madhu mantena and Allu Aravind. According to the most recent information, Suriya, who starred in the first tamil version, has also joined in. The creators are adopting a totally different strategy for the second installment.
 
Additionally, the filmmakers presented Aamir with the concept for the sequel, and the actor accepted, instructing the producers to come back to him with a plot. Suriya has also stated that the movie would be produced concurrently in Tamil. In a recent interview, Suriya expressed his amazement at allu aravind approaching him with a novel concept. The actor claimed that the latter even inquired about the film's viability, to which he replied in the affirmative.
 
Suriya acknowledged that the movie will be made and that talks are ongoing, but he gave no indication of when it would be released. However, according to a source, the creators intend to simultaneously release the sequel in tamil and Hindi. The reason behind this is that aamir khan and Suriya are unwilling to classify the production as a remake.
 
According to the source, both stars are worried that if one version is released before the other, there won't be any novelty value. The script is being prepared, the person added. However, it is presently unknown if A.R. murugadoss will be returning to lead both versions.
