Produced by Hombale Films, Prashanth Neel's Salaar sought to present prabhas in a fresh manner. The movie did not become the blockbuster that many had anticipated, despite having a respectable run at the box office. The lackluster ratings and viewership on sites like Netflix and tv cast doubt on the sequel's viability.

Additionally, the movie's re-release in the USA did not even pay its releasing expenses. Salaar 2 was therefore presumed to have been put on indefinite hold. But when it was revealed yesterday that filming on Salaar 2 had officially started, things took an unexpected turn.

It seems like a unique present for fans because the announcement falls on Prabhas' birthday and a 20-day shooting schedule is scheduled. Numerous issues remain unanswered despite the producers' announcement to the public that filming has begun and the lack of an official update from the film's crew.

Fans are perplexed as to why Hombale Films has chosen to rely on unauthorized leaks rather than a formal statement regarding Salaar 2. Additionally, prabhas is now working on the filming of Fauji and The raja Saab, while prashanth neel is pre-producing NTR's next movie, Dragon. Which begs the question: who is indeed developing Salaar 2?

Many fans doubt the legitimacy of the Salaar 2 filming because of the contradicting facts and ambiguity. Fans' excitement is noticeably low, and the scenario seems suspicious on many levels.
