Bahubali truck along with companion vehicle with 400 tyres each departed from Kandla port in Gujarat
As per report a colossal truck known as the bahubali, boasting an astounding 400 tyres and 3,500 horsepower, is making waves as it traverses the roads of Haryana. Recently, this remarkable vehicle successfully navigated a temporary bridge over the Sirsa branch canal in Narwana, drawing onlookers who could only exclaim, “What is this?" The bahubali truck, along with a companion vehicle – both of which have 400 tyres each departed from Kandla port in gujarat, carrying boiler components intended for a refinery in Panipat. The journey, which began a year ago, culminated in the successful crossing of a bridge specifically constructed for the occasion.
Perhaps as the immense trucks approached the temporary bridge, the operation faced challenges. Initially, five puller trucks attempted to move the trailers, but their efforts fell short due to the steep incline. After a brief pause, two additional puller trucks were enlisted, ultimately enabling a total of seven pullers to guide each trailer across the bridge. The scene drew a significant crowd, with spectators applauding the feat.
Moreover each trailer, weighing approximately 800 tonnes with the boiler included, requires substantial power to navigate challenging terrains. On flat roads, the trailers are towed by the pullers, each generating over 500 horsepower. For steep ascents or bridges, multiple pullers are essential, combining their forces to achieve an impressive power output of 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower. Furthermore the journey from gujarat is no small feat, requiring meticulous planning and coordination. A dedicated team of 250 individuals is involved, overseeing everything from logistics to technical support. This group clears the path ahead of the trucks, ensuring that obstacles such as power lines, railway gates, and roadblocks are removed well in advance.
