Higher education in italy is becoming more and more popular among indian students, particularly those from andhra pradesh and Telangana. This shift occurs when tighter visa regulations in the US, UK, and canada compel students to look for other places to study. More than 6,100 indian students were admitted to italy in 2023. The telugu states account for almost 20% of these indian students. Italy's distinctive study offerings and reasonable tuition are what make it so alluring.

Compared to more conventional study locations like the US, UK, and canada, where beginning costs are Rs 25 lakh, public universities there charge between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 10 lakh. Popular courses in the arts, hospitality, humanities, design, luxury goods management, culinary arts, and architecture are offered by Italian universities and are drawing more and more students.

In the future, this tendency is only anticipated to increase. According to a recent study, the number of indian students studying in italy is expected to increase by 22% by 2025 and by 500% by 2030. italy offers a relatively good standard of living, despite its affordability. The average annual expense for students is Rs 12 lakhs, of which Rs 5 lakh is spent on housing.
