bollywood stars have been attending a series of lavish diwali celebrations over the last week. The same celebrities often attended events organized by various industry participants, according to the majority of the parties. Actress pooja hegde has now disclosed what takes place inside these gatherings, despite fans still seeing images of the celebs posing for the media while sporting stunning traditional attire.
In a recent interview with BBC Asian, pooja hegde talked about her experiences going to expensive bollywood parties. The host asked her whether they run out of things to talk about when they see the same people at all the parties in the same week. It does happen, pooja said with a giggle, and they often just exchange greetings at that point. "Sometimes they have like these card parties. I love to eat I am a foodie I am munching on something," she said.
Party or Work?
In addition, they were questioned if attending these bollywood parties is a part of their job to network with people who could offer them employment chances. Actors have frequently highlighted how employment chances are addressed during these gatherings. According to pooja, who is an outsider, parties are similar to work to her.
"At least for me, it is also work. I don't know about people who have grown up (in the industry). What do you do if like your school friends are actors or like you are a star kid, I am sure it must be different. I am definitely the outsider who has come into this house maybe," she shared.
So, what's the ideal amount of time to spend at such parties? An hour, says pooja Hegde. "Sometimes I have a lot of fun. manish Malhotra is a great host. He really makes you feel welcome. That party I stayed much longer."
