Despite its success on social media, the movie's revenues on Netflix did not appear to match the figures. With a cumulative viewership of 8.9 million over three weeks, "Khel Khel Mein" is 0.7 million less than Akshay's second unsuccessful endeavor, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan."
Positive word-of-mouth also helped it rank ninth on Netflix's list of the most popular movies worldwide. That, however, was insufficient to make the movie a success. Although his films have received excellent reviews, akshay kumar appears to be going through a difficult time in his career.
