Though it received good reviews on Netflix for its humor and ensemble cast, Akshay Kumar's "Khel Khel Mein" has not done well at the box office. The film, which was directed by Mudassar Aziz, also stars Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, Aditya Seal, and Fardeen Khan.

Despite its success on social media, the movie's revenues on Netflix did not appear to match the figures. With a cumulative viewership of 8.9 million over three weeks, "Khel Khel Mein" is 0.7 million less than Akshay's second unsuccessful endeavor, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan."

Even though BMCM received negative reviews in theaters and on Netflix, it was in the top 10 worldwide for three weeks. Despite receiving positive reviews, "Khel Khel Mein" was unable to defeat BMCM. According to sources, "Khel Khel Mein" had a weekly audience of 4 million on its premiere, followed by 3.4 million and 1.3 million views in the second and third weeks, respectively.

Positive word-of-mouth also helped it rank ninth on Netflix's list of the most popular movies worldwide. That, however, was insufficient to make the movie a success. Although his films have received excellent reviews, akshay kumar appears to be going through a difficult time in his career. The actor has been plagued by the question lately: "Has the audience lost interest in Akshay's latest offerings?"
