Lucky Baskhar is directed by venky atluri of tholi prema and Sir fame. It is a story of rags to riches that also discusses the negative consequences of getting avaricious. In essence, it is a story about avarice and the punishment meted out to the average person. It takes time for Lucky Baskhar to build up the universe in which the narrative is place. It has two unique tracks: one about the family and the other on the financial industry. Family emotions and financial crimes are the two main story points that the film deals with.

The film's portrayal of family feelings is standard. We have witnessed it several times already. The good news is that the filmmaker navigates this predictability with little to no lag. For instance, it is made very evident in the birthday scene where the wife is injured by the pocket being torn apart. The criminal element adds novelty to the standard arrangement. The first part discusses smuggling through imports. Although these scenes provide fresh context, the hero finds them to be highly handy from a narrative standpoint. He is well-prepared and doesn't encounter any difficulties.

Usually telugu movies doesn't have enough respect in tamil Nadu despite the movie gets dubbed properly. Even 'Devara' was a massive flop in tamil Nadu. Nani's Saripodha Sanivaaram made a decent outing. However, Lucky bhaskar wins the TN box office despite SK's 'Amaran' making a huge noise.
