The political parties may be reacting cautiously to the supreme court declaring the 2004 UP Madarsa Act constitutional and quashing the allahabad High Court's decision, but it is certain to affect the by-elections being held on nine assembly seats in the state. While the ruling party is talking about respecting the court's decision in this matter, the Samajwadi party is showing sharp attitude regarding this decision.

This attitude of the Samajwadi party is not spontaneous, because the 2004 UP Madarsa Act was passed during the rule of the then mulayam singh yadav government. After the allahabad High Court's decision on march 22, many bjp leaders had targeted the Samajwadi party on social media, taking a dig at Mullah Mulayam's Act being declared unconstitutional. This is the reason why Samajwadi party leaders are openly giving statements that bjp people can mislead the public about the work done in our government but the court is approving all our decisions.

What did the SP leader say?

SP spokesperson and former president of allahabad Central university Students Union Ajit Yadav clearly says that the bjp leaders who spread communalism and appease people by calling SP founder mulayam singh yadav a Mullah should now publicly apologize. According to Ajit Yadav, this decision of the supreme court is enough to tell that the popular SP governments have always taken decisions in the interest of all without discrimination on the basis of caste and religion without the greed for vote bank. According to him, the socialists have never done anything unconstitutional. bjp does the work of dividing the society into pieces by flouting the law.

It is worth noting that the Uttar Pradesh Madrasa Board Act, which was declared unconstitutional by the lucknow Bench of allahabad High court on march 22 this year, was passed in the year 2004. At that time, mulayam singh yadav was the chief minister of UP. There were a lot of political statements even after the formation of this Act. After the formation of the Act, the madrasas of UP started getting recognition. There, a separate examination was arranged under the supervision of the government.
