Remakes appear to be a trend that will not go away anytime soon. hrithik roshan is apparently getting ready to release an adaptation of Will Smith's I Am Legend, according to exclusive reports from a source. Although there hasn't been a formal announcement yet, Hrithik is producing the movie under his production business and has already discussed managing the project with director Kabir Khan. However, for whatever reason, nothing came to pass.

In the meanwhile, the finest director is being sought, and further information is now anticipated. However, given that Hrithik is already working on war 2 and will next go on to Krrish 4, it appears that it will take a long time. Since they have allowed producers to make a lot of money, remakes have never been a terrible decision. Particularly, the existence of single screens is credited, even if the majority of them were shut down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's casualties.

However, producers still need to know that consumers' preferences have evolved over the past few years. Everyone is looking for original material, so even when a great star plays the lead, many people choose over-the-top (OTT) instead of going to the theater. Regarding Hrithik's proposal, it might not be a smart idea to adapt a well-known hollywood movie. We've all seen what transpired with Lal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, two years ago. Therefore, it is usually preferable to introduce something novel that has never been tried before.

The adaptation has to be done in a style that would appeal to the indian audience if Hrithik is still eager to work on it. Filmmakers must be careful not to just copy and paste the original. The screenplay has to be altered more, similar to what was done in Drishyam 2.
