Popular singer Sharda Sinha passed away on 5th november (yesterday) at AIIMS hospital in Delhi. This information has made many fans of the film industry sad. Legendary singer Sharda Sinha is a Bhojpuri folk music artist. Sinha, who is 72, has been battling multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, since 2018. Despite continuous treatment for this, she succumbed to her injuries yesterday at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. Her death has caused sadness in the film industry.

Speaking to reporters about her mother's demise, her son Anshuman Sinha said, “It is a sad moment for us. She was like your world. Her loss is unacceptable to many who loved her music. I am sure my mother's fans will be saddened like me, said a teary-eyed son. Talking about her mother's funeral... “We have decided that my mother (Sardha Sinha) will also be cremated at the same place where my father was cremated. So, her body will be taken to patna tomorrow.” He said.
Accordingly, Sharda Sinha's body will be flown from delhi to patna on wednesday morning, november 6. Her body will be placed in her house for public homage before her burial ceremony begins there. Her last rites and cremation will be held at Kulbi Ghat. Many people including Sarda's family and fans are going to participate in this. It is noteworthy that indian Prime minister Modi has expressed his condolences after hearing the news of Sarda's death.
Sharda Sinha, also known as 'Bihar Kokila', is a popular indian folk singer who has sung notable songs in Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Magaki music. She played an important role in popularizing the classical music of Bihar. It is noteworthy that she has excelled in the field of music and was honored with the Padma bhushan Award by the central government in 2018.
