Netflix has recently dominated the OTT market in the southern region. Netflix has been dominating the charts with a slew of loud movies. Animal was the first, and its controversial material sparked a lot of conversations on social media. Salaar came next, and because of the action blocks, it once more had some recall value. In fact, Netflix discovered an unexpected winner in guntur Kaaram, which briefly topped social media statistics.
 
Amazon Prime had been holding out hope for Kalki, but she vanished without making any noise at all. Since it had no recall value, it was a total letdown on OTT. And now, Devara, another topic-driving movie, is on Netflix and should be available on the service on the eighth of this month. The OTT behemoth will win a slew of telugu film awards if Devara also generates enough buzz on Netflix.
 
Additionally, pushpa 2, the largest of the lot, is expected to make a significant impact on OTT. Following the incredible success of the previous installment on amazon Prime, this is a huge release with excellent OTT chances. Given that amazon Prime is not there, it seems like Netflix has a firm hold on the telugu OTT market.
