Reportedly in an attempt to win the confidence of minority voters in the state, telangana chief minister Anumula revanth reddy on monday appealed to the minority communities to support the congress party to protect the reservations granted to them. While speaking at the Minorities Welfare Day celebration in Hyderabad, reddy took a jibe at bjp saying that they take away the votes of the minority communities and then bring laws to scrap the reservations.

But think wisely, they take your votes here and whom do they support in Delhi?". The chief minister further said there were not many parties in the country. There were only two one was the Modi pariwar and the other was gandhi pariwar. He said “If you decide to support Modi pariwar, they will scrap the four percent reservation provided exclusively to minorities by the Congress. Decide for yourself on whom to support".
