Competitive students reached the gate of the commission here on monday to protest against the decision of the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission to conduct the Provincial Civil service (PCS) Pre, review Officer and Assistant review Officer (RO ARO) examination on different dates, but the police personnel chased them away.
Reacting to this, Samajwadi party President and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, in a post on 'X', termed bjp as anti-youth and accused it of lathi charge on students and condemned it. He claimed, "When the candidates raised the demand to stop the rigging in the Public service Commission, the corrupt bjp government became violent. We repeat again: Jobs are not in the agenda of BJP."
Akhilesh Yadav wrote, 'Now the tricolor will wave in every hand! BJP's oppression will not be tolerated! The anti-youth BJP's lathi charge on girl students and boys is a very condemnable act. We are with the youth! When the candidates raised their demand to stop the rigging in UPPSC in Allahabad, the corrupt bjp government turned violent. We repeat again: Jobs are not in the agenda of BJP. Jobs will come when bjp goes!'
There was a scuffle near the gate
A large number of policemen deployed around the Uttar Pradesh Public service Commission stopped the students from coming towards gate number two, but the crowd of students reached the gate pushing and shoving and started sloganeering. The police chased the students to disperse them, but the agitating students gathered there again. The commission announced the dates of these examinations last Tuesday. While the dates of 7th and 8th december have been announced for the PCS Pre exam, the dates of 22nd and 23rd december have been announced for the review Officer and Assistant review Officer (RO..ARO) Pre exam.
