Online users have been sharing footage of the big Royal Caribbean cruise liner leaning "45 degrees" toward the Atlantic Ocean. news accounts state that a squall—a sudden storm with strong, persistent winds—hit the ship. The ship tilted into the ocean off the coast of Africa as a result.

The incident happened aboard Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the seas on november 7, according to Cruise Hive. Chaos broke out on board as the 137,308-gross-ton ship tipped on its side due to hurricane-force gusts. The ship is in a state of anarchy, with passengers fighting to keep upright and furniture being shattered, according to a dramatic video that has gone viral online. As crew members attempted to calm down terrified passengers, dishes, and glasses were seen breaking on the ground in the footage.
 
When the unusual weather phenomena led the Explorer of the seas to tilt to one side, it was carrying almost 5,000 crew members and guests. Although some passengers and staff members needed first aid for minor scrapes and bruises, fortunately, no serious injuries were recorded. With over 22 million views and hundreds of comments, a single video that was posted on X has gone viral.
