The luggage of the helicopter of former maharashtra chief minister and shiv sena UBT chief uddhav thackeray was checked again on tuesday (November 12). His luggage was checked in Latur. This is the second consecutive day when this has happened. Earlier on monday (November 11), his luggage was checked in Yavatmal.
In fact, on monday, uddhav thackeray claimed that when he reached Yavatmal for maharashtra Assembly election campaign, government officials checked his bag. The former chief minister questioned whether the election officials will also check the luggage of prime minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders? uddhav thackeray informed about this alleged incident while addressing a public meeting organized in support of shiv sena (UBT) candidate Sanjay Derkar in Wani, Yavatmal. The shiv sena (UBT) president said that when he reached Wani by helicopter, several government officials checked his bag.
'I will fulfil my responsibility'
He asked party workers and voters to also check the pockets and identity cards of the officials who check them. thackeray said he was not angry with the election officials. However, he said, "You are fulfilling your responsibility and I will fulfill my responsibility. The way you checked my bag, will you check the bags of Modi and Shah in the same way?"
'Bags of Mahayuti leaders should also be checked'
He wanted to know whether the bags of chief minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers ajit pawar and devendra fadnavis should not be checked? thackeray said, "All these unnecessary actions are happening, I do not consider it democratic, this cannot be democracy. There is no big or small in democracy."
'MVA workers will check them'
He said that if the election officials do not check their (senior leaders of the ruling alliance) bags, then the workers of shiv sena (UBT) and opposition MVA will check them.
