A total of 12 candidates are in the fray in the by-election being held on Kundarki assembly seat of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, out of which 11 are Muslim candidates. This seat is a Muslim-dominated seat and this time most of the Muslim voters of Kundarki say that asaduddin owaisi raises their voice in the country, so this time they will vote for AIMIM candidate Hafiz Mohammad Waris.
In the last assembly by-election also, AIMIM had made Hafiz Mohammad Waris its candidate on Kundarki assembly seat and he got 14 thousand votes. Once again in the assembly by-election, AIMIM has made Hafiz Mohammad Waris its candidate. This time on november 18, on the last day of election campaign, asaduddin owaisi himself is going to hold an election rally in Kundarki. In such a situation, if asaduddin owaisi succeeds in convincing the Muslim voters, then the contest here is expected to be triangular between SP, bjp and AIMIM.
Voting is to be held on 20 november on the Kundarki seat and the results will be declared on 23 November. This assembly seat has mostly been occupied by SP and BSP. bjp has never won this seat after 1993. Muslim voters play a decisive role in this seat because about 65 to 70 percent of the voters on this seat are Muslims. The party which gets the support of Muslim voters will become the mla here.
All parties are playing the Muslim card
Perhaps this is the reason why BPA candidate Thakur Ramveer Singh is also seen wearing a cap during the election campaign. Candidates of all parties including bjp, SP, BSP and AIMIM are playing the Muslim card to attract Muslim voters to their side in Kundarki.
