One of Delhi's most prestigious universities is Jamia Millia Islamia. The institution is frequently involved in disputes, sometimes including anti-national protests or Diwali. india Herald has now said that it has discovered a major scandal about Jamia Millia Islamia University, which revolves around claims of discrimination and threats against Hindus who are employed, teach, or study there. According to the allegation, there is a gang in Jamia that coerces Hindus into becoming Muslims by threatening them with rape or failing their classes if they don't.

These grave claims were made by an NGO called Call For Justice, which claims that systemic racism and coercion are experienced by Hindu academics, staff, and students at Jamia Millia Islamia University. The NGO claims that Hindus are under pressure to convert to islam and are made to recite the Kalma. The NGO established a six-member fact-finding team to look into the allegations after receiving complaints from Hindu staff, instructors, and students.

Senior attorneys rajeev Tiwari and Purnima, former delhi Police Commissioner S.N. Srivastava, former delhi Government Secretary narendra Kumar, retired delhi High court judge Shiv Narayan Dhingra, and Assistant professor Dr. Nadeem ahmed from Kirori Mal college were all on the committee.

According to reports, the committee's conclusions showed concerning cases of discrimination based on religion. For refusing to convert, Hindu faculty, staff, and students were allegedly threatened with rape and acid assaults. To force Hindu pupils to convert, the report also alleges that they are purposefully failing examinations. These actions were allegedly committed by Muslim students and professors.

According to the study, Hindu SC/ST students and females were given preferred admission to influence their views, and there were also allegations of love jihad. According to reports, these instances have caused several Hindu students to leave Jamia. The research also highlighted the impact of extremist Muslim groups on campus, which are alleged to brainwash people.

Outrage and calls for a comprehensive probe into the incident have been triggered by the claims. In response to these allegations, Jamia Millia Islamia has not yet released an official statement.
