These will start in three to four months.
cm Atishi said that in the ten years since the aam aadmi party government was formed, the speed of metro expansion has increased more than one and a half times. By 2014, 193 km of metro line was built, but since the formation of the AAP government, 200 km of line has been built in the last ten years. Earlier there were 143 stations, today there are 288 stations. Today the metro has 11 lines. Earlier the daily ridership was 24 lakh which has increased to 60 lakh today. Yesterday a record was made, 78 lakh passengers travelled in the metro in one day.
'Driverless metro will start soon'
He said that pollution has also come down due to metro. Metro has reduced 6.3 lakh tonnes of greenhouse gas. In the coming time, preparations for phase four will also be accelerated. Under this, driverless trains will soon start operations in the coming time.
Good people from other parties are welcome in AAP - Atishi
