It took place in the early hours of november 18 following a tragic traffic accident. An unidentified car struck 50-year-old farmer Ghurka Lodhi. How Situation Escalated Between police And Locals
A verbal altercation broke out between the locals and the police during the demonstration. One of the police officers, Gupta, smacked a young person who was protesting in the middle of the confusion. The young person in issue slapped the policeman in retaliation. The issue was only made worse by this. As more police officers hurried in to handle the situation, it descended into a violent altercation.

As their conflict progressed, the villagers openly expressed their displeasure with the police for the same reason—negligence. They claimed that because of the police's tardy reaction to the collision, the farmer's medical care was delayed, likely leading to his death. The physical altercation between the police and the young person further exacerbated the resentment that this carelessness appeared to have caused.

It just so happened to be caught on camera in a video that is currently going popular on social media. The video, which has caused controversy both among the community and inside the police department, shows the heated debate and slapping by both parties. In response to the video, many people criticized the police officer without taking seriously the fact that some people criticize the declining relationship between the police and the community.
