Eknath Shinde
Eknath Shinde is currently the chief minister of Maharashtra. He is the head of Shiv Sena. Eknath Shinde contested from Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly seat of thane district. Eknath Shinde won from here in the year 2009, after which he has never lost from here. In 2022, Eknath Shinde rebelled and parted ways with uddhav thackeray and formed the government with BJP. However, in the maharashtra elections, the Mahayuti is hoping to return to power again with the achievements of the government led by chief minister Eknath Shinde.
Devendra Fadnavis
bjp leader devendra fadnavis is currently the deputy cm of Maharashtra. He contested from nagpur South West assembly seat. He contested from this seat for the fourth consecutive time. He has been an mla here since 2009. He has also been the chief minister of Maharashtra. When Eknath Shinde formed the government with bjp, fadnavis was given the responsibility of deputy cm by the bjp leadership.
Ajit Pawar
ajit pawar is leading the NCP. He is also currently handling the responsibility as the Deputy chief minister of the state. ajit pawar has again contested from Baramati assembly seat of Pune. He has been winning the last seven elections from here. This time ajit pawar is pitted against his nephew and sharad pawar faction leader Yugendra Pawar. sharad pawar has also won the election on this seat. ajit pawar had separated from his uncle sharad pawar and joined the Mahayuti.
uddhav Thackeray
Former maharashtra chief minister uddhav thackeray is currently leading the shiv sena (UBT). He is currently an MLC. uddhav thackeray is not contesting the assembly elections. His son aditya thackeray is contesting from Worli seat. uddhav Thackeray's party shiv sena (UBT) is with the maha Vikas Aghadi alliance.
