Alia Bhatt's performance in Imtiaz Ali's Highway left everyone in awe. The actress had to change during the production and respond to nature's call in unexpected locations since she lacked a vanity van and adequate safety equipment, as the director has recently disclosed.  
During a panel discussion with actors bhumi pednekar and vani Tripathi at the international Film festival of india (IFFI) in Goa, Imtiaz discussed the value of fostering supportive workplaces for women. He also disclosed that throughout his twenty years in the film industry, he had to fire crew members three times for misbehavior. On the set of Highway, one such occurrence took place.

"We were shooting on a rural highway without proper vanity vans," he remembered. alia had to change or go to strange places to answer nature's call. During that time, one crew member attempted to approach her, and I promptly sent him back. In my career, this occurred three times, but it is no longer the case. The times have changed significantly. Actresses are now incredibly safe on the set.

"The bombay film industry is remarkable for the way it treats its women," Imtiaz said, highlighting the advancements made in the field. It is a really safe place for them to work in a unit with 200 employees. alia bhatt and randeep hooda played the main parts in Highway. The film is still regarded as one of the actress's most renowned roles, and she received a great deal of praise for it.
