Bollywood actress raveena tandon is renowned for speaking her mind without hesitation.

She is quite active on social media and has frequently spoken in opposition to popular social concerns. She had previously backed Harbhajan Singh, who called for the olympics to remove Algerian fighter Imane Khelif after internet leaks of her medical records indicated he was male. She has recently criticized a global journal that referred to hinduism as an "obscure religious cult." The phrase was made about Tulsi Gabbard, an American politician and military commander.

The Financial Express, in one of its articles, referred to American politician and military officer, Tulsi Gabbard, as “a former Democratic lawmaker and devotee of an obscure religious cult, who will oversee the 18 US intelligence agencies.”

Given that Tulsi Gabbard is a devotee of the Vaishnava school of hinduism and is known to have been raised with Hindu principles, they used hinduism when they said "an obscure religious cult." She is also known to be a follower of ISKCON.
