JMM seats increased compared to 2019
This time JMM has won more seats compared to the 2019 assembly election. In the last election, hemant Soren's party got 30 seats, while this time Soren has got 34 seats. At the same time, congress has won 16 seats both the times. bjp got five seats less this time compared to the last election. In the 2019 assembly elections, bjp won 25 seats and in this election, the party has won 20 seats. This happened when Champai Soren, a veteran leader of JMM, left hemant Soren and joined BJP. After this, it was believed that bjp is going to benefit from Champai Soren's presence. However, this did not happen. Champai Soren retained his victory from Saraikela but could not give bjp the victory the party was hoping for.
