On the internet, there have been rumors about a Singh Is Kinng sequel. First, producer Shailendra Singh disclosed that a fresh actor will be chosen for the starring part and that a follow-up was in the works. Akshay Kumar's production business owns around 50% of the film's intellectual property, thus the news hasn't gone well. 

In a statement, his legal team claimed that Akshay now has the project's rights, title, and other assets. Additionally, the statement stated that as Shailendra lacks the authority to produce a prequel or sequel to the movie, everything he discussed with Mid-Day on november 11 is untrue.

The announcement follows Shailendra's statement in an interview that he intends to introduce either ranveer singh or Diljit Dosanjh. Notably, the two had appeared on film together with Akshay in Singham Again and Good Newwz. Given the audience's preferences in the modern world, Singh Is Kinng 2 could not be as profitable as the original. If it was created by someone involved in the preceding project's production, it was permitted.
 
Even while there are several cult classic sequels in the works, it's still unclear how well they will do at the box office. Singh Is Kinng created the first picture in 2008 for a variety of reasons, and it is difficult to create a follow-up with the same components that made the first movie so successful. Shailendra has been prevented from making a sequel by Akshay's legal team, but the actor has not yet responded.
