Following a weak opening day, Suriya and Disha Patani's Kanguva had a sharp decline in sales on friday, the second day, in every area. Kanguva, the grandiose epic directed by Siva and Suriya, had a dismal opening thursday and continues to deteriorate on day two.

The greatest opening day total for any Suriya film in india was achieved by Kanguva Part One, which brought in almost ₹21 crore nett on its first day. This, however, did not meet the film's scope, budget, or expectations. Unfortunately, there was a significant decline in the second-day results. On thursday, the hindi version brought in about ₹3.25 crore net, which was less than anticipated.

Unlike earlier tamil blockbusters like Leo and GOAT, Kanguva was distributed in national multiplex chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. Therefore, it was expected that the movie will make at least 5–6 crores. The hindi version's subsequent decline to ₹2.5 crore net on friday cemented the movie's demise in the marketplace. The telugu version likewise suffered a 50% decline in revenue, with 4.5 crore net on day one. The tamil version saw a startling 80% decline on friday after earning ₹13 crore net on thursday in its native market.

The movie made about 8.5 crore net on its second day at the indian box office, so there won't be much to no increase over the weekend. The expected two-day total is between ₹29 and ₹30 crore nett. The movie now has a difficult time even breaking the 100 crore global box office total, which is a startling and terrible outcome. Kanguva will have a hard time reaching even 25% of the 400 crore gross breakeven objective. An enormous catastrophe of epic proportions.
