With the release of her telugu film Yashoda and her current series Citadel: Honey bunny on amazon Prime Video, samantha Ruth Prabhu has completely transitioned into an action star. The actor plays a spy in the Raj & DK series, which includes several battle scenes. samantha recently talked about how she battled myositis while filming the series and even pleaded with the producers to replace her.

Samantha said in an interview with Galatta india that although she was first thrilled to join Honey bunny, she later doubted her ability to do so. Since it was impossible, I never imagined that a few months later I would ask raj and DK to select a different woman. I think the situation I was in prevented me from doing it," she remarked. Samantha's health suffered due to myositis, an autoimmune disease, necessitating hospitalization.

The actor said that despite her suggestions for more performers, the series directors raj and DK refused to consider them. "I sent them the photos of Kriti and Kiara. I recall exclaiming, "Oh my God, she is so hot," and sending them four. Take a peek at her. When she takes action, she will be spectacular. samantha said, "They said we know them, so please, I can't do it." You don't need to provide them to us. We are aware of their identities.

Citadel: Honey bunny, starring varun Dhawan, Kay Kay Menon, and Saqib Saleem, was ultimately completed by Samantha. The thriller is a precursor to Citadel, starring richard Madden and priyanka Chopra, and produced by the Russo Brothers. Last month, it went live on amazon Prime Video, and in its first week, it was the most popular show on the service worldwide. Both reviewers and fans praised Samantha's performance.
