Fans were taken aback when mahesh babu recently shared an instagram Story praising Nayanthara's documentary Beyond the Fairytale. Mahesh stood up for Nayanthara in spite of the continuing conflict between her and dhanush over the Netflix series. In his post, mahesh babu showed his appreciation by sharing the documentary's poster with three love emoticons. Many were surprised by his support for Nayanthara because Mahesh tends to avoid controversy.
 
Fans of dhanush vented their ire and urged Mahesh to put more effort into his next project with rajamouli rather than posting anything that can incite fandom conflicts. In order to prevent rajamouli from sharing such things on social media, some even tagged him and begged him to assign Mahesh some homework.
 
Some were persuaded by Nayanthara's powerful industrial ties and clout. They were grateful for her influence in the field. Remarkably, Mahesh and Nayanthara have never collaborated on a movie. The public has given the documentary mixed to unfavorable reviews, and it hasn't attracted a lot of viewers yet. We must observe whether Mahesh's endorsement results in an increase in viewership. But as of now the viewership has fallen to the bottom and no one even cares about it.
