In Mauganj, Madhya Pradesh, a 16-year-old girl was reportedly gang-raped in an ambulance by her cousin's husband and his buddy. Her uncle, who is still on the run, witnessed the horrifying crime being carried out. On november 27, two of the defendants—among them the ambulance driver—were taken into custody.
 
The incident happened in the vicinity of the Hanumana police station on november 22.
 
On november 25, the minor filed a formal complaint against four individuals. These consist of the ambulance driver, his daughter, son-in-law, and maternal uncle.
 
The brother-in-law and the ambulance driver were taken into custody on november 27. The uncle and his daughter are still being sought after.

In the Hanumana police station area, Pandit, the driver of janani Express, was called on november 22 to pick up a patient from Lasa village, according to the police. Since the victim's maternal home was located near Lasa village, his buddy and his wife—the victim's cousin—accompanied him when Pandit went in his ambulance.

According to the victim's FIR, on the evening of november 22, she received an invitation to her home from her maternal uncle's younger daughter. A greedy person was the victim. The victim's maternal uncle, his older daughter, her husband, and the driver Pandit were already in the ambulance when they all departed.
 
Her maternal uncle and his son-in-law occupied the front seat, while the victim and her sister occupied the rear. Her sister got down under the guise of gathering water after they had traveled a short way. At that moment, her spouse approached the rear seat and took a seat next to the victim. The ambulance's driver steered the vehicle in the direction of a slope. In front of her uncle, the cousin was reportedly raped three times during the night by her husband and the driver.
 
The three drove away from her near her house at around five in the morning. She informed her mother about it, but she begged her to keep quiet out of concern for social disgrace. On november 25, the girl, furious, went to the police station and made a formal complaint.
 
Anil Kakde, the in-charge of the Hanumana police station, said that both of the accused were taken into custody after a case was filed in response to the victim's allegation. The victim's missing maternal uncle and his daughter, who set the trap, are being sought.
 
The cops have confiscated the used ambulance.
