Even though pushpa 2: The Rule is regarded as one of the most anticipated movies, Kantara: Chapter 1 is also on the list and is anticipated to be better than the first movie. The movie is now at a standstill since some of the younger actors involved in Rishab Shetty's prequel had an accident.

Eleven months is a long period, so it would appear that everything would be finished by then. However, other areas need to be attended to even if filming is completed on schedule. The film has a higher budget than the first one, at Rs. 500 crores. This demonstrates that a significant amount of VFX work will be required, which will take a lot of time. It's unclear if there will be any modifications to the existing release date, which is set for october 1 of next year.
