It is evident from the musical compositions of current tollywood superstars that few albums have the ability to ignite playlists before their debut. Although guntur Kaaram's album was passable, these tracks weren't very great before it was released. The sympathetic topic of the Mawa Enthaina song made it popular after its OTT premiere. Naturally, Kalki's record was a letdown, which is fair given the tone of the movie.
 
Prior to the debut of the movie, only Devara's album dominated the playlists. Prior to the movie's debut, the Fear Song and Chuttamalle were popular on mobile devices and contributed some value. Even though pushpa 2's tracks are supposed to be slow burners like the typical DSP fare, they weren't popular prior to their debut. Last but not least is Game Changer, which also lacks this type of motivation.
 
It is clear that only Anirudh could produce an album like Devara that would top playlists and buzz on social media prior to its release. It's noteworthy that while Anirudh is performing in other languages, native DSP like Thaman are having trouble delivering hits. Even recently, for Ajith's 'Vidaamuyarchi' he used 'Ajithey Kadavule' vibe and it became a sensation.
