With its december 5 release, Allu Arjun's much anticipated "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is ready to take over theaters. Even before its debut, the Sukumar-directed movie caused a stir on the internet by revealing the highest ticket prices ever in India. Prices in the Hindi-speaking areas are reportedly going to be around 10% more than those in "Singham Again" and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3." Due of the enormous demand for the sequel, prices will also be much higher in the south.

Since the announcement of price increases, social media has been a flurry of activity. One person said, "Allu Arjun's swag and Sukumar's direction deserve this," in support of the price increase. You pay more for something exceptional if you want it. However, a number of people voiced their disapproval of the choice, claiming it would detract from the moviegoing experience. "People will stop going to theaters because of these outrageous costs. "OTT platforms are already more cost-effective and convenient," a user stated.

Due to a lack of competition, analysts also expect that the movie will rule the box office. The pushpa 2 will have more than two weeks to enjoy a solitary run as Chaavva has been postponed to avoid competition. According to trade analysts, the movie may make between Rs. 53 and Rs. 58 crore on its first day in Hindi, with worldwide receipts potentially surpassing Rs. 100 crore. Later this december, varun Dhawan's "Baby John" and Mufasa: The lion King are expected to pose a serious threat to the movie.
