Vikrant Massey announced his retirement from acting on social media on december 1, shocking his followers in the process. Vikrant, who is well-known for his adaptability and captivating performances, made the surprising choice as his career was taking off.
 

In his heartfelt post, Vikrant wrote: "Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it's time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, father & a Son. And also as an Actor. So, coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between. Forever indebted."

Fans and coworkers are shocked by this statement. Many others expressed their surprise and dissatisfaction in the comments section. Someone said, "Why would you do that? You are one of the rare actors. We require some quality film. One person said, "Leaving a legendary career behind," and another said, "I hope it's not true."
 

On The Work Front
Following his recent achievements, Vikrant announced his retirement. He played IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma in 12th Fail, which received high praise from critics only last year. He returned to the part of Rishu with more vigor in his august release, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba. prime minister Narendra Modi and home minister amit shah have even praised his most recent endeavor, The Sabarmati Report, which has received widespread acclaim.
 

Vikrant received the Personality of the Year award at the just-concluded 55th international Film festival of india (IFFI). "I always try to work responsibly," he said during the closing ceremony, reflecting on his professional choices. There is always an attempt to amuse viewers while yet adhering to responsible filmmaking, whether it be 12th Fail, Sector 36, or The Sabarmati Report.
 

The Sabarmati Report, Vikrant's most recent film, was also shown at IFFI and is now tax-free in several states, including Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Uttar Pradesh. Since its november 15 release, the social drama, which is based on the actual events surrounding the Godhra train catastrophe, has made Rs 22 crore at the national box office.
