As per report Devendra Fadnavis, two-time former chief minister, is widely seen as the frontrunner for the top post. The meeting will be held wednesday morning in Vidhan Bhawan, a party functionary said. Meanwhile shiv sena (UBT) mla Varun Sardesai on monday claimed the trends in postal ballots and EVM results of the maharashtra assembly polls appear inconsistent, raising doubts about the integrity of the EVM system. Sardesai, who defeated NCP’s Zeeshan siddique to win the Vandre east assembly seat in the debut contest, also claimed a suspicious spike in voter turnout during the final two hours of polling and demanded a reply from the election Commission.

Moreover bjp leader vijay rupani on him and Union minister Nirmala Sitharaman being selected as observers for maharashtra said, “The party has informed about sending both of us to maharashtra as observers, we are going as observers for the process of selecting the party leader in Maharashtra.
