As per report tamil Nadu bjp chief K annamalai has taken a jibe at actor Vijay who floated his own political party ‘Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’ earlier this year, stating that his ideology is an “aggregation of all existing ideologies" and such “Khichdi politics" has not succeeded anywhere. annamalai returned to tamil Nadu after a three-month education break at Oxford and rejoined active politics with a fiery jibe at actor Vijay on Sunday.

Meanwhile annamalai said “Vijay’s political ideology is an aggregation of all existing ideologies. Khichdi politics has not won anywhere". annamalai, who unsuccessfully contested the lok sabha elections 2024 from Coimbatore, said that the entry of Vijay into the political spectrum will not dent BJP’s prospects in the state. “Vijay seems to align with the ideologies of the Dravidian parties. As a result, the votes traditionally shared between the two major Dravidian parties (DMK and AIADMK) may now be split among three contenders moving forward," he told reporters at chennai Airport on Sunday.

Moreover he expressed confidence that the nationalistic votes will get consolidated for the BJP. He said “We are not scared of anyone. The bjp is strong in tamil Nadu". annamalai also welcomed his entry into politics and said that one has to be active all the time on the ground in politics. Vijay had floated his party earlier this year and said that his party would not contest the lok sabha elections and the objective of his new outfit is to contest and register victory in the 2026 assembly Elections.
