Pushpa 2 The Rule is expected to be a huge hit at the box office, as seen by the record amount of pre-booked tickets sold today. However, in an attempt to make more money, producers and distributors are deceiving viewers under the guise of 3D and Imax formats. It makes sense and is typically done if ticket prices are raised for such a large release. However, it doesn't seem moral to persuade them to attend a 3D viewing.

Several large cinema chains have called this out and stated that it has to be strictly addressed. "In a sense, we need to stop this practice, as we are unfairly held responsible for quality issues that stem from the film's output itself," they stated. The film is blatantly commercial and does not use a lot of computer-generated imagery. It is not absolutely necessary to perceive it in three dimensions.

It is unethical to take advantage of people's enthusiasm and anticipation for the film, and it won't accomplish anything either. However, the multiplexes are deceiving consumers into paying more for the 3D or Imax experience, which is essentially the same as the 2D showing.
