Released last year, Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai Part 1, which starred soori and vijay sethupathi in the key roles, was well-received by critics and viewers alike and became an enormous hit. Audiences had high hopes for Viduthalai Part 2 following the success of Part 1. In this case, the movie's trailer was published recently and received favorable reviews from viewers.

It's evident from the Viduthalai Part-2 trailer that the majority of the film focuses on the previous life events of Vaathiyaar, aka Vijay Sethupathi's character, as well as his married life, in which manju warrier plays Sethupathi's wife.
